Mongolian Rugs

Any description of carpet production in Mongolian should be considered purely speculative the environmental, social, economic, and artistic conditions for a local production certainly exit: Mongolian is a very high, dry plateau inhabited by pastoral tribes of Mongol and Turkic origin, and similar groups in other areas are known to weave carpets. Yet no existing piece of any significant age can safely be classified as Mongolian, nor is there any literary or archaeological evidence for carpet production. Moreover, most of the so-called Mongolian saddle bags are now being more accurately attributed to Ningxia. They, together with pieces of monasteries, were exported to Mongolia in great numbers as indicated by the numerous Ningxia column rugs with Mongolian inscriptions.

Sarab rug-Persian Rugs

Sarab rugs originate in north-western Iran, in the province of Azerbaijan, and are similar in many ways to Heriz rugs. The people speak a dialect of Turkish, and their Turkish origin is also reflected in the design of their rugs, which are very geometrical. They generally have cotton warps and wefts and a wool pile. Small sizes are typical, about 1m wide, though runners up to 4 or 5 meters in length are also found. The strongly geometric patterns usually feature one or more large elongated medallions in the middle of the composition. The main colours are brown, red and cream.

Rugs Dust Removing-Micro-Splitting Technology

Our cleaning devices harness over 40,000 harmonic vibrations per minute to vibrate out the most stubborn soil and sediments caught deep in the fibers of the rug.

In village and tribal regions where rugs are made, the dirt and sediment is simply beaten out of the rug using a large stick and some elbow grease! This is a great way of extracting the grit out as it breaks the hard, encrusted layer of dirt found deep down in the backing of the rug.
